Q: What is Robe Cloud?
A: Robe Cloud is a shared wardrobe service for Australian women that allows them to express themselves through fashion by renting unique, statement, designer fashion and accessories. We believe every wardrobe is divided into a statement wardrobe and a capsule wardrobe. Robe Cloud is a woman's dream statement wardrobe with an endless supply of bright colours, prints and textures which compliment any capsule wardrobe. We also aim to promote the concept of slow sustainable fashion amongst our customers, with the hope to minimise the amount of textile waste being directed to landfill.
Q: How does the rental process work?
A: Our rental process is straightforward. You browse our selection, select the item you want, and rent them for either a 4 or 8 day period. When you receive the item, simply wear them to your event. When you're ready to return the item, use the prepaid Australia Post shipping satchel that we provide to ship the item back to us.
Q: How do I send my items back?
A: We provide an Express Post return satchel which you place your garments in and drop into a YELLOW post box before 2pm on the last day of your rental period (Or on a Monday if your last rental day falls on a weekend).
Q: What size clothing do you offer?
A: We offer a range of sizes from 6 to 14 AUS/UK
Q: Can I try on the clothes before I rent them?
A: Currently we do not have the option to try on our pieces, however, our Robe Cloud Boutique will be commencing construction shortly and has an expected completion date of December 2023. We know that sizing can be a big factor in renting clothing, which is why we will be offering the option to try on your selected items before renting them once construction is completed. This can be a great way to ensure that you get the right fit and style before committing to renting the item.
Q: What happens if I damage or lose a rental item?
A: If the item is damaged beyond repair or is lost, you will be charged for the full recommended retail value of the item.
Q: What if it doesn't fit?
A: Not a problem, please place in the return satchel 3 hours from receiving the dress and email orders@robecloud.com.au with the following details:
1. Name
2. Order #
3. Rental period
Please note: This only applies to online orders and the garment hasn't been tried on before hiring
Q: What if I change my mind?
A: A wardrobe that consists of neutral colours that can be worn daily and compliment any item from our statement shared wardrobe
Q: What if I return my hire late?
A: We depend on our customers to return their hire on time for the next customer. If you return your rental late you will be charged a late fee in line with the T&Cs.
Q: Can I cancel my rental reservation?
A: Yes, you can cancel your rental reservation up to 15 days before your rental start date without incurring a cancellation fee. See our cancellation policy for more details.
Q: Can I extend my rental period?
A: Yes, you can extend your rental period by contacting us before your rental period expires depending on rental availability. Additional fees may apply.
Q: How long will it take for me to receive my rental item(s)?
A: Shipping depends on your location, but most items typically arrive within 1 to 3 business days using Express Australia Post.
Q: What happens if I don’t receive my order in time for my event?
A: We recommend you allocate a shipping date at least 2 business days BEFORE your event to ensure it will arrive on time or allow enough time for an exchange. It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have allowed enough time before their event date.
Q: Do I have to sign for my package?
A: Yes, all packages as sent by registered express post and require a signature to ensure they are delivered to the correct customer.
Q: Are the clothes clean?
A: Yes, we thoroughly clean and sanitize all items before shipping them out to our customers.
